Catnip : Tea Bags
Nepeta cataria
This is the tea bags form of Catnip. The traditional use is for restless kids who fight bedtime. The taste is mild, slightly mint-family.
Typical pediatric dose
Tea: 1 tsp dried herb in 8 oz hot water for kids 4+. Half a cup before bed.
Safety notes
Generally safe. Avoid during pregnancy. Don't use long-term as a daily sedative.
