Omega-3 (Fish Oil DHA/EPA)

Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory and brain-supportive. In studies they help with focus, mood, and sleep in sensitive kids. Look for products tested for heavy metals.

Typical pediatric dose

Kids 4-8: 500-1,000 mg combined EPA+DHA/day. Kids 9-13: 1,000-1,500 mg/day.

Safety notes

Fishy burps mean the oil is oxidized : switch brands. Avoid in kids on blood thinners.
