Passiflora incarnata

Passionflower is one of the few herbs with controlled trials in kids with ADHD-related anxiety. It works on GABA, like chamomile but stronger. Best used short-term during high-stress periods.

Typical pediatric dose

Tea: 1 tsp dried herb steeped 10 min, half a cup at bedtime for kids 8+. Tincture: see product label.

Safety notes

Not for kids under 6. Can interact with sedatives and antihistamines. Talk to your pediatrician first.
