Tart Cherry Juice

Tart cherry juice is one of the best dietary sources of natural melatonin. Studies show it improves sleep duration in adults; kid evidence is smaller but consistent. A small glass an hour before bed.

Typical pediatric dose

Kids 6+: 4 oz unsweetened tart cherry juice 1 hour before bed.

Safety notes

Watch sugar in sweetened versions. May interact with blood thinners.
